Today, jazz dance is influenced by pop music and can be seen in concerts and video clips for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney Spears and movies such as Fame and Step Up. Jazz dance enhances flexibility, movement, and fitness levels. This form of modern dance is a great work out for all ages and levels of ability. This class is for Adults aged 16+.
Classes: Absolute Beginner / Beginner:No prior experience is required., Beginner / Elementary:The beginner/elementary class is the next level up from beginners and is suitable for students with at least 1 year prior experience., Elementary:The elementary class is the next level up from beginners and is suitable for students with 1 or 2 years experience.IntermediateThe intermediate class is suitable for students with experience and good jazz technique., Jazz WorkoutA new 45-minute lunchtime power dance class – fun, fast and full of non-stop action. Easy to follow variety of dance steps, resulting in a whole routine. A fantastic workout, Jazz Workout is movement for people on the move!
